Hip-Hop Wedding Weekend – Alicia Keys & Swizz Beatz and T.I. & Tiny Tie The Knott
Hip-Hop superstars Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz share the spotlight with T.I. and Tiny this past weekend as both couples got married in private ceremonies on Saturday, July 31st.
After exchanging vows in the states Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz traveled to Italy to tie the knot in an intimate ceremony with family and friends at a private home on the Mediterranean Sea. The bride wore a Grecian-inspired Vera Wang dress and carried a bouquet of purple calla lilies. The groom was decked out in a Tom Ford tuxedo. The couple’s friend Dr. Deepak Chopra presided over the nuptials. The couple, who are also expecting their first child together later this fall, have been together since fall of 2008 after their steamy affair ended Swizz Beatz marriage to his 1st wife and mother of his two children Mashaonda.
Not to be out done, T.I. and Tiny who have been together for 9 years finally said “I Do” at a fairytale wedding ceremony in Miami. The bride wore a Valentino gown while the groom strutted a custom-made Prada tux. Guests at the all-star affair included Usher, Jermaine Dupri, Monica, Xscape bandmate and reality star Kandi Burruss, TLC’s Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, Tameka’s BET costar Antonia “Toya” Carter and Keyshia Cole just to name a few.
Singer El Debarge, who put on one of the best performances at this year’s BET Awards, serenaded the couple and the ceremony was topped off with brightly colored fireworks.
The couple didn’t stop there though. After the ceremony wrapped, both T.I. and Tiny jetted to Atlanta as well as Las Vegas to party the night away.
